Franck de Villeneuve, French DJ & composer of electronic music since the early 90s, belongs to the first generation of DJs of the underground movement that oscillated into the raves of the south of France and north of Spain.
He played DJ and Live in numerous clubs & festivals of Europe, sometimes further, he performed on major events like the Technoparade, and shared the stage with artists as Ellen Allien, Miss Kittin, Paul Kalkbrenner, M.A.N.D.Y., Marc Romboy, Luke Slater, John Dahlback, Agoria, Martinez, Daniel Bell, Danton Eeprom, Cabane, Arnaud Rebotini, Swayzak, Smash TV (…).
Franck de Villeneuve owns a techno orientated musicography since 1996, composer and remixer he produced last year several remixes, one of Alton Miller for the label Marendadisc.
January 2011 he remixes Lo for Miniatura records in a techouse feeling, the track is already in the top Beatport charts of the label. Franck is also composer for the TV since 15 years, he mixes electronic and classical sonorities with references as UNESCO, Airbus, SNCF…
Franck has other cards in his hand : artistic director and resident artist from 2005 to 2010 of the mythic club the Rachdingue in Spain, opened by Salvador Dali in 1968 ; artistic director of the collective Diprogress since 2000 and creator of events for 4 years with his wife Freeda on the Perpignan / Barcelona axis : come complete concepts, crossing electronic music with other arts, visuals, paintings, lightning, performances, contemporary art, fashion show.
Franck de Villeneuve plays a powerful music at cool tempo, an actual clever mix with underground resonances, lively and mental, that he can’t stop working during his sets, whatever they are performed nwith, vinyls, laptop, or tactile controlled as in his last audiovisual concept!
