Been Watching You EP

Axel Karakasisis is the undisputed king of Greek techno. Renowned not only for his amazing live 3 deck sets, he has releases dating back over the last 10 years – many of which have been techno chart toppers.

Here we find Greek Axel collaborating with The Zone Records from Rome, akin to ancient empire’s colliding, only great things can
happen…

On this the fifteenth release from The Zone Records, Axel’s signature sound can be found in all three originals.

“Been Watching you” is a track which will be played everywhere throughout the summer of 2011 and beyond, with its definitive bass bounce, punching perc and superfly groove.

Crazy tech rythym and pounding sounds grow into a crescendo of sonic rapture that are bound to keep all techno heads happy.

“Bite” raises the tempo a little and gives you a glimpse inside the head of Karakasis and what the man is capable of, with its sumptuous synth work and hardcore drum machine workouts -“Bite” is relentless and not for the faint hearted.

“Restricted Flow” is milder than the other two tracks, and is perfect stuff for getting a dance floor going with its infectious melody
and undeniable head nodding hypnotism.

This release offers a track for the start, middle and end of your night – the shame is you won’t want the night to end.

The Zone Records fourteenth release is, unsurprisingly, the calibre you have learned to expect from Italia’s No.1 hard hitting and forth right techno label.

“Hard hitting” is apt, as it’s another way of Saying “Impact”, Niereich’s new release on The Zone Records.

2010 saw Niereich break into the techno scene in a big way with his no-nonsense style of pounding kicks, hissing percussion and grand spatial sound settings.

“Impact” sees Niereich offer two original but distinctly different versions of the title track “Impact”, and sees him joined on the release by no less then Go!diva and Michael Schwarz, providing some quality reworks of the original.

Impact V1 immediately get’s to work on your aural synapses with immense sounding industrial style hisses which toy with the mind’s mental picture of this futuristic sonic strain.

With a rising siren throughout this is sure to cause cerebral chaos in even the most dedicated techno listener.

Impact V2 bangs big from the get go, again steam releasing Niereich’s signature hisses over fat kicks and crispy percussion. Well-crafted synths collide to create a track fit for space travel or getting a dance floor ripe for some hedonistic mayhem.

The remix by Michael Schwarz is bound to delight the bass hungry with his relentless rework of Version 1 whilst Go!diva’s take is pure filth embodied with its distorted synth lines and colossal tones.

It’s time for TECHNO! Funky-Techno, perfect for Dancefloor! The new style techno, from The Advent’s style, coming again on The-Zone Records From Rome GYMMY J makes these incredible massive techno tune, perfect for dancefloor.

With the original track SAW, we have three incredible REMIXES by great names like: Spiros Kaloumenos (MB Elektronic – Primate), Spiriakos & Steen (Naked Lunch, Skyline Type Grooves) and Hugo Paixao (Skyline Type Grooves, Dirty Planet).

In Kaloumenos remix you can feel all the class of dancefloor experience with speed and groove in perfect fusion.

Incredible the Spiriakos&Steen’s remix, slowly than original but incredible deep and massive with a bass really powerful…a slow&violent remix!

And to close the Ep, there is one of the Skyline Type Grooves boss: Hugo Paixao, with a perfect clean techno remix when you can appreciated the style and specially the technique! For all the real TECHNO lovers!

Here is the second Acid release for The Zone Records.

The first coming from Holland concentrated on the power of the TB303, the second coming from France and signed by a poliartist such as Franck De Villeneuve.

An entire EP where everything blends in a simple and functional way. TB303, kicks, basses, vocals and melodies build a winning sound on dancefloors as well as in your mind.

“Additive” the track that names the EP melts a classical Acid-house Chicago style with a more German’s Kraftwerk type sound.

“Wake up my mind” is based on a hypnotic bass groove with some echoed basslines as well, it reminds the ears of Franky Knuckles’s classic rmxs.

With “Ballade Champetre” you enter the dancefloor and are immediately captured by the warm bass and groove that seize your soul.

Also very interesting work on “My back without stage” a blend between Dub, Acid, Techno and Pop. TB303, piano, vocals and dark rhythms inside this timeless production.

After a long friendship with “The-Zone” crew here is a shows of 4 truly monstrous tracks.

Perfect style of dark creepy techno. Slow, heavy and hypnotic!

Minimal blends with Techno in all 4 tracks of this EP.

Industrial pads melt with hypontic ones, deep basses with powerful rhythmics that all together form something he himself called “Ride Groove” emphasising this with the name of the ep itself “Geometric” also highlighting the historical connection between music and mathematics.

Listening to “Triangular” and “Cubic” on side A you are pulled into a spatial and hypnotic sensation while the powerful rhythms of “Circular” and “Prismic” of side B are powerful dancefloor killers.

Another big techno release for The Zone Records!

The tenth release of the label “The-Zone Records”, it could not be a celebration as it should During the 5 years of the Amazone Records, “The-Zone” called the label’s owner, one of the most active exponents of techno “last generation”.

Straight from France, Mr. Marco Asoleda closes 2010 with a big bomb!

The Ep is structured in two original tracks plus 2 Remix. The Original tracks “Darky” and “Tool” have the unmistakable stamp of Marco Asoleda’s music, usually heard in the production of Amazone Records.

A style where deep bass and hypnotic synth create an atmosphere of darkness and underground, where the subwoofers are the masters. Perfect tracks to start a big party.

While the two remixes outsource what is the basis Asoleda Music.

Techno version of “Darky” where Logotech enhances the hypnotic element, the depth of the original drum, transforming it into a war machine for the subwoofers.

Peja has a version of “Tool” more tech-house, very elegant, with a mix of drums, bass and synth, perfect for the dancefloor… keeping the hypnotism.

New school techno Made in Italy, KNOBS aka Diego Simonetti from Rome.

Young talent, already a leader in the Top 10 of Beatport, 6th in Chris Liebing Timewarp’s Chart (his releases also on Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Clonk Records, Etui Records, M_Grey Records) also played by Richie Hawtin, Drumcell, Chris Finke, Monoloc and more, soon on smallroom rec, continues to sign winning productions. His music is cosmopolitan as his life.

Techno is his expression of a sound that comes to America from Asia via Europe. Spirituality asian , american groove and the power of european rhythm… these are the characteristics of the tracks “Beauty”, “Big Fat Ass” and “Supra”.

While the track “Oldschool” is a real gem for this Ep, where past and present blend in perfectly. A track that combines Robert Hood’s techno style to Chris Liebing’s style in a special “TechnoKnobs” style. Listen carefully!

A Techno artist who has indicated his intention to continue testing instrument creating the new school techno!!

First production only “ACEEEEEEED” for The Zone Records.

Night Orchestra, a young dutch artist, is the protagonist of “The Challenge acid”.

After the second release in which the protagonist was the “old school electro” signed by Aux 88 and Debonaire, this release is still the ghetto music that breaks through the wall separating the market from analog to digital… without compromise.

One release focuses on the power of TB 303, the magic box that can transform a bass line in a sound without borders.

A european acid production that reminds us the old settings of Hardfloor and 90s Acid Party atmosphere.

Vocals hypnotism and altered consciousness are the themes on the tracks “Abandoned Factory” and “MDMA”.

While on the B-side “Few Seconds”… Night Orchestra hits the full heart of the dancefloor, mixing perfectly electric bass and drum machines.

Ends the EP with the track “State Of Mind” where the bass, drums and synths… creates an effect lysergic acid, without side effects.

W ACEEEEEEED the NEW !!!

Mr. Edoardo Pietrogrande with this high speed release!

This time it’s the label’s sound engineer who signs the 7 th.

Soul, technique and attention to the deep moods are mixed to perfection by creating a fancy sound, expression of the interaction between dance and experimentation.

Sounds at very high speed!!

It ‘s the time of one of the leading producer / dj of the year in the roman scene, Frankyeffe.

This is a release that’s all his musical world. Four tracks that express his desire to play techno and the desire to rock the dancefloor, but always looking for an original sound… for sure he is an artist of the new sound of Rome.
